题目一: The Impact of Farmers'Cognition on Behavioral Response in the Collective Operational Construction Land Entering the Market
分享人:陈桥宇
摘要:There is an urgent need to clarify the behavioral motivation of farmers to participate in market entry and establish consistency between intention and behavior to promote market entry reform. Based on an improved theory of planned behavior (TPB) and 246 sample data points from Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, China, this paper uses a structural equation model to study the response path of farmers' market entry behavior. Additionally, the mediating effect on the relationship between farmers' intention to enter the market and government support is tested. The results are as follows: (1) Chinese farmers' cognition of land market entry does not directly contribute to their behavioral response, and the intention to enter the market plays an important mediating role in the action logic of farmers' market entry. (2) Chinese farmers' market entry cognition has a significant positive impact on their intention, and the order of the effect is subjective norms > farmers' market entry attitude > perceived behavioral control. (3) Chinese farmers' response to market entry has the dual behavioral logic of being "spontaneous" and "induced"; however, the complexity and uncertainty of market entry limit the internal "spontaneous" effect of farmers' behavioral response to market entry.
题目二: The Impact of Temperature on Productivity and Labor Supply: Evidence from Indian Manufacturing.

摘要:Hotter years are associated with lower economic output in developing countries. We show that the effect of temperature on labor is an important part of the explanation. Using microdata from selected firms in India, we estimate reduced worker productivity and increased absenteeism on hot days. Climate control significantlymitigates productivity losses. In a national panel of Indian factories, annual plant output falls by about 2%.
